I've got the recall as well, and coincidentally I've recently started having intermittent rear camera issues, which as described seem to continue until after I've power-cycled the vehicle. So at least there is a fix, even if it's going to be a while. I'll mention the issue next time I bring it...
Follow-up on my earlier post, my local Ford dealer was able to get this repaired under warranty. Looks like they attached a new connector to the window.
I purchased my 2023 4 Door OBX on June 6th, 2023 (blend date 4/28/2023) and have recently had the same issue, I'm scheduled to have it looked at this coming Friday, will let you know what they say.
Kindof feels that way. No idea what I'd go with if I had to replace mine, but I don't think I could do the OBX now based on the dwindling options:
2023 OBX 4-Door Advanced 4X4 (Non-Sasquatch)
* No Advanced 4x4 without Sasquatch
* No cloth seats
* Eruption Green +$295
* No 2.7L...
Tried to compare my 2023 OBX build with 2024, and I don't think I can accurately compare considering the number of changes. Not sure if any of these are bugs in the B&P or things that were snuck in. Guess we'll have to wait for the order guide.
Cloth seats no longer available
Advanced 4x4 with...
I suppose every dealer is free to set their own price including these BS fees, but when they hide that from you until after your order is delivered is messed up. That should have been disclosed when you placed the order. Hope you have luck negotiating that off.
I had my printed DORA and made that same argument. All I could get is that Ford had not credited the dealer for the difference in some past deals and that they had to eat the loss. I've heard that some dealerships have done the price protection as an after the deal refund because of this. Still...
I was in the same boat yesterday when I went in for delivery. I received my model year private offer, but I was not price protected for the current year. I mentioned this to my saleman, he went back and checked and was told that the private offer was my price protection. I explained that these...
Picked mine up at my dealer yesterday, so excited to take it on a road trip next week. The waiting was painful, but so worth it. Hoping everyone else waiting gets theirs soon.
Mine appears to be at the final rail stop, "has been placed at industry, Dixiana SC" as of this morning. Here's to hoping it gets to the dealership in the next few days.
I got that update this morning, along with a new updated ETA for what I assume will be it's final destination in Dixiana, SC.
Seems to me that these rail cars are switched from one train to the next, and don't always take the most direct route, rather they get joined to whatever train is headed...
