I've done the same thing. BL to BD to Base. Looking at Velocity Blue, 2-Door, with 2.7/Auto, and Auxiliary Switches. All other changes will be made via aftermarket stuff.

My 2-door Black Diamond spec with 2.7 was just under $40k, until I decided to go ahead with the factory tow package. Something about keeping my Bronco under $40k just seemed right to me and even the tow package seemed like splurging. Well, add the new $1,595.00 up charge for the automatic, and...

I hear you. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the carbonized gray color. I'd just like a black top that matches fender flares, bumpers, etc. Therefore, I'm exploring all options. I appreciate the heads up on potential issues.

This is a Bullet Lined Jeep top from their Facebook. I like this black. I don't imagine a color match will quite match paint, but this is something I will be looking into further.
