I bought these awhile ago during Black Friday sale and before I read about the hardtop issues. Sucks that went down, before they got involved in the hard top their rep was pretty good for the fenders I thought. I learned about them on this forum few years ago.
I order the 2" 4 door fender and quarter panel kit I love the look and I'm super excited. I didn't consider how much labor went into fitting, installing, and prepping for painting. Got one quote for 11k and up if they need to blend into the doors. Is this the going rate for this kind of work...
If yours came equipped with just the hardtop it is likely you are missing several parts, there are a few really good guides on here on what those parts are:

I'm new here so forgive me if this has been talked about or is an error but this price seemed like a mistake so I went in to a local dealership and talked to parts department and yep they are asking $1800 per piece for a small bracket if you are converting from hard to soft top.
pretty sure it's this thread maybe it was another but a guy installed this on the back wheel to hold the liner in, without it, the piece sags.

Just wanted to thank this thread, because of the info in here I bought, painted, installed the trim lock from amazon and put these bad boys on. Not probably adding anything new but for people wondering. Painting in LA cost me $600 and they had problems with the prep and had to paint twice...
