@Ducati1098 You were on track with the Evap. Picked up my Bronco earlier and finally got the report.

Well those two sensors were not the problem. Yet another sensor was ordered and waiting for it to be delivered and installed. @Ford Motor Company are you tracking this??? The service techs cannot determine the problem. Are there procedures in place for troubleshooting?

Diagnosis as of today is faulty MAP and Boost Pressure sensors. Not sure how these are related to the fuel pump and refueling. Parts should be in tomorrow and installed by EoW.

(y)I'm tracking now. A 10 gallon fill up seems like it would be close to 3/4 of a tank. And was exactly why I went back to the gas station a couple of hours later... to make sure I filled.

That's interesting... Would/Could that also impact to the fuel level sensor in the pump? I was wondering if there may be some sort of updated firmware that is needed to play well with the new version of the pump.

Sad to report that it is back in the shop. First fill-up after the new fuel pump and only 10.6 gallons were needed when the gauge said I was around 1/8 tank. The gauge only went back to 3/4 full. Drove home, then about an hour later I hopped in for a quick ride and it started sputtering and...

Finally. Picked Lil Sebastian up on Friday afternoon and it's back in the stable.

Sad to report that I'm still waiting for the part. :cry: My dealership was obviously not in the rotation for the 44 parts that shipped in mid-August.

LoL... Technically, this will end up being pump #3. ;) Controller and Sender were replaced previously but not a bad plan to look at other parts in chain.

I sure hope I'm not waiting till mid-September for the replacement. Over 1 month of it sitting waiting for a dang part will be brutal.

In my head it was for a detergent. If for some reason the sensor or float was dirty or hanging up because of some dirty fuel. It was a long shot but I was giving it a try. 🤷🏻‍♂️
