6 volts instead of 12 volts, see post below.
I changed mine to this wiring and it helped, they don't get near as hot and it operates just fine.

Recently replaced SAS Bilstein stock shocks with Bilstein 6100. Set the adjustable lift clips at 6 front, 4 rear. I have noticed some bump steer and rear end jump over bumps since the change in shocks. Relocation bracket sounds like it might correct this. The lift in the front over SAS is...
Just a follow-up after having the 6100's installed last week, reused SAS stock springs. Started at 38.5" floor to fender all around before install. I went with Clip #6 on front, #4 on back. Also removed the 1" puck level I had on the front. Ended up from floor to fender of 39 1/8" all around...
So in other words, who knows. I get it done on Tuesday of this week, so will find out soon enough.
I'm going to start with 6 front, 4 rear. With the 1" puck level on the front removed, that should yield level front to back. If adjustments needed, guess have the shop change the rear before...
Sanity check on clip settings. '22 Black Diamond Sasquatch. I have added RC high mount with 10k Smittybuilt winch up front. RCI frame mounted rock sliders, RCI transmission skid. Currently running factory 35" Goodyears and I plan on sticking with 35" tires, 37" NOT in my plans. I have a 1"...
I originally had the clips, but they would not stick well to the side panels and I also found a lot of people had no idea how to take them in and out of the clips so they just pulled the whole clip off.
I got tired of trying better and better double sided mounting tape and finally went to gun...
My '22 sas black diamond has about 30k miles, just went out of 36 month warranty. I was already planning to upgrade all 4 to Bilstein 6100 series at some point within the next year or so and reuse my springs regardless of the recall for better performance, etc
Would I be wise to do the...
No drilling, bolt on using existing holes in the frame. They are great. I have the 20 degree, still very usable as a step, albeit a little taller one than some other options. These are rock solid and I have absolutely no fear of bending them. They protect the body and doors. I have pivoted...
Agree, did a little research and it appears most important balane is radial weight. Minor inner vs outer weight does not affect balance much at all. Obviously this assumes the rings are balanced radially, but it thinks that is a safe bet based on their design.
I plan on taking my rings off...
Still on my original sas Goodyear's at 30k, so not a lot of research done yet. I am surprised that leaving the rings on for balancing would be necessary. Can't imagine they would be out of balance much at all if done without rings then put rings back on after balance. I guess the inner vs...
