  1. Low value on used Bronco

Buying a vehicle and trading it in a year or two later is one of the most financially irresponsible things you can do. You're just eating the steepest part of the depreciation curve possible. It honestly blows my mind that people actually do this. I got my bronco in 2021 for MSRP and I hated...
  2. Matt's Offroad recovery of a Bronco in desert dunes

That was at least 100% wrong prior to 2021. He was charged with felony insurance fraud last year for billing AAA for a bunch of "on road" recoveries that were actually off-road recoveries that he uploaded to youtube essentially posting evidence against himself. He pled no contest and was...
  3. 2023 Bronco Heritage Edition Revealed! 1,966 Heritage Limited Edition (Badlands) Units to be Produced. Unlimited (Big Bend) Heritage Editions

Kind of frustrating. This is the version of the Bronco I really wanted, but won't be able to actually get it, and even if I didn't already have my Bronco I wouldn't be willing to pay the dealership markups that will surely accompany this because they made it a limited edition instead of actually...
  4. TAKE MY WINDSHIELD POLL!

I took a big rock to the windshield at 300 miles of ownership and had to have it replaced. I'm at close to 11,000 miles a few months later and have driven across the country without any rocks. Ever since the first rock I've been pretty careful, trying to not come close to tailgating the vehicle...
  5. Cracked Windshield

Parts and labor is only $421? If that's OEM glass the glass must have dropped in price drastically in the last few months and labor costs must be substantially less in Texas. The drastic drop in the glass price is great news for us. My receipt from February 15th has the OEM parts listed...
  6. Cracked Windshield

I'd be a little suspicious of that since mine was also replaced by Safelite. They said the required recalibration for the windshield safety system camera requires you to bring the bronco into one of their facilities, remote replacement wasn't possible. It's possible that prices have dropped...
  7. Absolutely nothing wrong

Yes that sounds like the popping/squeaking that seems like a very common defect for MIC roofs. If it's from the same thing as everyone else's issue then it's because Ford cheaped out and didn't put rubber grommets in the holes where the MIC roof goes in. You basically cut 2 inch by 2 inch...
  8. Absolutely nothing wrong

I have 10,600 miles on it as of today after a 5,000 mile road trip to Moab/national parks. I've only had the MIC-top clicking issue which was solved by some foam in the top pin holes. Everything else has been fantastic. I was in Moab during jeep week after having driven it from Virginia, did...
  9. Bronco 2.7L Gas Mileage tracked -- a 10,000 mile detailed report

I just hit 10,600 miles on my 2.7L MIC-top, non-sas, badlands. I've averaged 18.3 mpg over that span. A majority of those miles were at highway speeds of over 70mph because I just did a 3 week, 5,000 mile road trip to Moab and a lot of national parks.
  10. Cracked Windshield

It's often state dependent and what insurance regulators allow. The Bronco windshield replacement cost with OEM glass without insurance according to Safelight is $1,900. My insurance deductible is $500 and Virginia state law does not dictate a mandatory zero deductible policy for auto glass...
  11. Went to buy a Bronco Today, got the old Bait and Switch

Well I'm in Moab for Easter Jeep Week, and I've now seen double digits.
  12. Went to buy a Bronco Today, got the old Bait and Switch

If it was double or triple ply during covid then I would have felt like a king, or princess if that's your thing. There is zero chance of the Bronco being as common as the Jeep in "short order". I just drove from DC to grand junction colorado (diverting north to visit people). Over 2,500 miles...
  13. Went to buy a Bronco Today, got the old Bait and Switch

It still feels pretty exclusive. I've only seen one other Bronco on the road still. I was at the dealership yesterday and they didn't even have a demo Bronco on the lot (I didn't see a mach-e or a maverick either). It seems like I'm seeing even routine common vehicles like Kias being sold over...
  14. Video: Bronco Raptor 12" digital gauge cluster demo at the 15:35 min mark .. super cool

The regular F150 gets 25 mpg. It would make zero sense for a bigger engined, heavier, less aerodynamic Bronco Raptor to somehow magically get better mpg than the regular Bronco.
  15. Video: Bronco Raptor 12" digital gauge cluster demo at the 15:35 min mark .. super cool

It is highly doubtful that the MPG is better than the 17mpg on the badlands with 2.7. It's much more likely to be 14-15mpg.
