It's not the heims rattling. It rattles when closing the tailgate and driving over bumps. Maybe longer bumpstops is the solution, but the current bumpstops are squished when closed...

In my Moab travels over the years in my EB, Pritchett was my favorite trail - done it countless times. Never winched except for the rock pile, but now there is an alternate way - arguably just as hard. Rusty Nail is not as hard as Pritchett - more nerve wracking, but not harder. I haven't done...

Thank you. Makes me wonder what Turn was referring to when mentioning a redesigned bracket... 🤷‍♂️. I'm going to work with them to see if can get rid of the rattles. If not, I'll move on to bumper number 3 (probably expedition one).

Hmm, interesting - I have no movement like that on mine. Just spit balling - are you sure the bottom bearing is seated all the way?

You need to tighten the bearing nut. It should not wobble like that.

I'm looking forward to see what you come up with. I've dicked around with it so much that any more and I'll end up removing it and throwing it off the bluff in my back yard. I'm frustrated because I sold my $3500 SRQ bumper at a 50% discount and bought this one hoping it would be serviceable...

I don't see any flex in the pivot area on mine. I think the main issue is the heim arrangement. I would really like to see how the Expedition One bumper does the heims as it sounds like that bumper doesn't have the rattle issue.
