Yeah, the kit came with lowering blocks that tied in to the existing swaybar frame mounting locations and the rear cross member, and that dropped the entire bar down as needed.
Same here, haven't reached out to Oracle yet... Looks like I better get the process started too. I have 3 letters starting to only display half. Mine are the white with amber backlight by the way.
@ORACLE Lighting have you guys came across anything in your QC that us early adopters should be...
It did. It included new front and rear crossmembers that drop the diff approx. 3". This required cutting out the center section of the rear crossmember to allow for the front driveshaft clearance. I took a chance since it lists on their site as not fitting the Badlands models and didn't have any...
I did the 5" RC lift here on my BL non-sas with no installation issues. I've been really happy with how it turned out. My biggest concern was CV angles with a lift over the 2-3" supposed safety range, so I knew a diff drop was in order. My CV's before and after with the diff drop appear good to...
Yep, would still function perfectly fine. You would just need to actuate it by reaching down between the engine and radiator area. Depending on your height, this may or may not be an easy task. I'm 6'1" and it was right at my reach limit. If I ever install a lift I don't believe I'd be able to...
Finally got my circuit board and code work completed for a custom lighting project. I'm using the @ORACLE Lighting back-lit letters with an Arduino micro controller to animate things. Here's a quick shot of the unlock sequence.
None. That was also my main reason for cutting off the lower half of the original RC plate. I didn't really care for the way the angular design would have extended lower than the factory skid. Could definitely see it turning into a "mud scoop" as one of the other members mentioned, if driven in...
I thought it actually worked out well that it was directly in line. That way I was able to drill through it and made a 3d printed "bushing" to act as a lower support and guide for the rod. The bushing plate then also had a hole for the clip that's on the wiring harness that runs along the top of...
Thanks for all the accolades, folks!
The Apex "claims" it has both IP68 and IP69K so hoping it should be fine handling submersion of over 1M and withstand 1450psi high pressure water. But like you said, if I'm ever that deep I've done something very wrong! My previous winch on my Wrangler...
Thanks! actually got quite a few questions so just posted a more detailed thread of it's own. Feel free to ask anything additional there!

Install Thread
Originally posted a few pictures of my install in the "What did you do to your Bronco today" thread and had quite a few questions so thought I'd post more in a thread of its own.
So I went in a slightly different direction than what I've seen others go with my Rough Country Hidden Winch...
Finally finished up my custom hidden winch install. Morphed the RC plate into the BL skid and made a custom clutch extension as well. Pretty happy with how it turned out.
I think it's larger than just 22's I believe it was something that was either rolled out late in MY21 or a software update that they've rolled out recently at some point. Mine is a '21 that was delivered to the dealer back on 11-27-21 and I'm not able to change any settings in the IPC either.
Received my new switch that the dealer had ordered and shipped to me and installed it this evening, finally. Once I got the new one in, I dug into the old one and found that it's pretty straightforward and I actually had all of the parts still to get the old one back up and working perfectly. I...
