Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes. Maybe it will reset it.

I was just about to say nest, then wrap in bubble wrap, and put it in a bag. Its usually alot cheaper.

I can tighten mine down to where they don't move. I don't have the DV8 just some cheap pair from ebay. That being said I do not tighten them that much. I keep them semi loose where I can close them with my hand but the wind doesnt move them at all.

So I had a battery issue already. It was swapped out under warranty. Before I even had a system. I dont see the stereo causing that issue. If it comes up I'll change the battery and a capacitor if needed.
