I'd be interested in those files too if you end up with a model of the brackets. I was thinking of just CNCing my own relocation brackets with my desktop CNC.
Chon, you did a fantastic job! Would you be willing to share your CAD file for these sensors? I'd like to CNC them out of Aluminum and would rather not try to reverse engineer it 😀
Hey all,
I have a 2022 Badlands with the Marine Grade VInyl seats, and would love to put them into my 1995 Bronco. So instead of paying to get my 1995 seats reupholstered, I'd like to see if anyone is selling their OEM seats (MGV or Leather). If so hit me up, I'll be happy to travel the east...
Found these on amazon:

They just arrived today and I put them on my Archetype BYOD rail and it works perfectly. Just waiting on my 1/4x20 phone mount and will post pics.
I'm getting into the Overlanding arena as well, I have an m116A3 generator trailer that I'm converting into a squaredrop trailer with a 270* awning. Until that happens, the 270 is too long for my 2dr, but I picked up an ARB 2000x2500 awning with the awning room. I'll be using that for my camping...
Honestly, everything held up fine, just the horn went wonky until it dried up, and water was retained in over head trim, a couple spots in the console and the headlight switch held some water on the backside.
Great job! Looks well done, I'm in the process of doing a squaredrop build with my m116a3 trailer. Glad to see another east coaster getting involved in the overlanding sport.
You are right, poor word choice on my part.
I won't change it though, as I waited as well. 1 year 10 months and 17 days. Day 1 reservation holder. Heaven forbid I discuss an issue on my vehicle, on a forum about that vehicle, in a category listed as "issues, repairs, etc".
When they get their...
Yea, because next time some one asks about their horn going off because their interior got wet in a new thread, you can yell at them they should search, then spend hours wading through people's BS comments?
Perhaps people just need to realize the difference in the medium that they use...
Really? Why don't you read it again. GTFO of here with this BS.
I constructively criticized the build quality of the vehicle. There was a pop up storm while i was nowhere to see it. There have been multiple articles referring to its features of weather sealed switches and washout interior...
There's a lot more to the cost of a piece of equipment that a military contract requires, which is why a bolt at the hardware store for $3 is $50 in a gov contract. You wouldn't be comparing apples to apples.
Certain things can be designed to minimize risk of failure, didn't say it had to be waterproof or IP68 rated, nor do I expect the level of R&D to be put into it as a piece of equipment designed for Combat, CBRNE, and severe austere environments.
It's not rocket science to change the shape of...
Haha truthfully, milspec is a joke, I would never wish that upon any one. Have you seen or used military equipment?
Now, aviation is a different story.
And, in regards to the drains... they would obviously need to be routed to an exit point such as an exterior drain or even just to the...
I get it, but why bother with sealing the switches and few other components that are in the open, but not the headlight switch or steering wheel. Why put drain holes in the wireless charging tray but not the cup holders. Why design window buttons to act as a cup for liquids...
I'm not asking...
