Claud.ai's roast, 4 rounds of "is that all you got?!" It's kinda mean!! lol
The Final Execution. God Help Us Both.
Let's set the scene.
A man in Cottage Lake, Washington — where it drizzles 11 months a year and the most treacherous terrain is a wet Costco parking lot — decided what he...
I know I'm late to the conversation, plus I didn't read the thread :)
I have this Coolgear device, hard wired to my Scosche M8RIX. Works great so far, haven't run in more than a day straight so I'll find out this summer if it can run Starlink ~10 days straight. I ditched all the 12v cigarette...
It's been so long I don't recall the install, I do know that I don't have plastic anywhere. I've since replaced the LOD trans skid with full skids from JCRs. Even with the JCR I had to add a washer or two for clearance on the sway bar disconnect.
My pad retainer broke, I know of others have as well. Maybe that caused the premature wear? I when noticed my pass rear clip failed, it'd squeal in reverse. Was at 27K miles, pads looked great when I took it apart to fix. I'm on 37s.
Well crap, I went out and tested mine, looks like they broke the app. No feedback, it even sucks at getting to the target pressure, like 1psi off so you have to fiddle with it to get it to the target. I know it was working great this summer, don't recall since then. I have a hard plumbed 4 way...
Thanks for the write-up! Good to know what to expect, bummer on the shackle holes and trailer plug kit. Mine arrived this week, still in boxes, got the swing arm and just about every add-on that'd fit. Took about 8 weeks to arrive, the cargo tray is the only thing that hasn't arrived yet.
@RedRider Mine sounds the alert fine, connected wireless/wired carplay (it'll blast loud through the stereo), iOS with no issues for a couple years including the latest iOS. Maybe your alert setting is off, or it doesn't play if your ringer is off? As for the visual alert, I think it just...
My passenger seat makes a lot of racket when wheeling and someone is in that seat. I never remember to look into it when it's back in the garage. Anyone have a pic/vid of the issue?
The right answer is to remove the axle and open up the CV joint. Find some really loose gravel to drive on slowly in 4H (well, I test in 4L), slowly drive and do some turns, don't start full wheel lock and listen for popping/clicking.
I see these in your near future (SAS)...
You're talking about the speaker rings? I routed out 3/4" HPDE rings and used speaker foam tape on the ring and speaker, I'll have to consider adding 3 more bolts like you did.
Your FS and QTS comment led me down a rabbit hole. My GB60s have FS 66hz and QTS 0.48., if the enclosure is 0.06 ft³...
How thick of plastic did you use? I thought about using spray foam as well, may have to go your route since it worked for you. 55hz would be great compared to my 100hz!
Is anyone capturing before and after frequency response measurements when making changes to the kick enclosure? I've attempted to seal up the area, still have full drop off at 100hz. Near field frequency is good, can't tell if I'm fighting the enclosure or cabin acoustics (+soft top)...
