I thought the Scout was going to have an option for an EREV platform which is not a traditional hybrid more of a gas generator to charge the EV battery. I could see that being good for the Bronco for versatility, overlanding and range anxiety

Agree probably 95% of miles are still on local roads. We got solar last year and while it was a bunch of $ up front, now we basically have no costs except fuel and get a credit from the utility every month for excess electricity. Needless to say an EV doesn't sound so bad with Gas approaching $5
