I would not trust them to fix this while not causing some other cosmetic damage. Show them your picture and request they give you new weights so you can properly clean the rim and reattach them correctly yourself.
I did this once when I noticed the tech didn't clean the rim and placed the new...
I skip all extended warranties on everything. Looking at what "might" happen on one specific vehicle is the wrong way to analyze the true cost/value. Add up the cost of ALL extended warranties vs cost of out of warranty repairs on all vehicles over the years and you'll always come out ahead...
Bean counting makes vehicles more affordable and competitive. If not for this the Bronco would cost more. Consumers shop for lowest price/best value. Manufactures are simply supplying what we demand.
Agreed. The more fuel an engine burns per mile the more byproducts, oil dilution, carbon build up, wear, ect. it produces. The extra cost of premium is worth it to me to minimize these things. The exrta MPG covers part of the cost and the increased performance is a bonus.

Sorry to hear you're having these issues, OP. I guess one bright side is this is happening early on when not only the warranty is in effect, but lemon laws are too. Stay on it and document everything. Best of luck.
Excessive idling at start up to "warm it up" is not doing anything good for your engine, it actually causes more wear. If you really want your vehicle to last longer you'll be best to follow manufacture recomendations and start driving gently within the first minute or so. Vehicles warm quicker...
At the end of March I wanted to factory order a 2025 Mercedes CLE 450. Dealer told me any tariffs added would be my responsibility. They cannot lock in a price for a vehicle that is not produced, and no one knows when or how much the tariff will be. I did not order. I can't imagine other...
