  2. Flat tow equipment needed to flat tow the 2021 Bronco?

Does anyone know if the factory modular bumper on a 2023 Raptor is the same factory setup as a Badlands? That is, do Raptors need the LOD brackets?
  3. Ford claims flat towing our 4 mo. old Bronco destroyed the transmission (not covering under warranty)

Does this mean we, with Broncos built on or before 12-Jan-2024, should all visit a Ford shop for a software update?
  4. Poll for failed 10 speed transmissions on Bronco after flat towing.

I am interested in your observation about water and the possibility of water intrusion. You speculated that the water came from A/C condensate. This is the strongest lead I have seen for this problem. I also flat tow my 2023 Badlands and I also and VERY worried about it. Thanks for your work...
  5. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

Happy Day! I opted for shipping rather than traveling to Danville. It worked. I got my Badlands a week ago and got my paperwork yesterday. The Bronco arrived in pristine condition. The driver was a young guy who seemed to know what he was doing. Good job SAC! I would do it again.
  6. Flat tow equipment needed to flat tow the 2021 Bronco?

Well, I was willing to try the Blue Ox baseplate, but it does not get the job done in that the recovery point is gone. . I bought a Blue Ox adapter for the recovery point but this fits Jeep front end recovery points. It is about ⅜” too narrow for the Bronco recovery point. I am thinking about...
  7. Flat tow equipment needed to flat tow the 2021 Bronco?

The loss of the recovery points bothers me so I reached out to eTrailer, then to Blue Ox. I asked if the base place could be used as recovery points. eTrailer said yes. Then Blue Ox said no. Here is the reply I got: I apologize for the incorrect information Blue Ox Towbars has given you...
  8. Florida Roll Call

I finally have my Bronco! I will look for get togethers.

I know this is a SAC thread, but I may be in this situation. I changed ZIP codes and Jeremy was having trouble with my PP certificate. Any comments?
  10. Everglades Snorkel Installed on 2.7L Badlands Bronco [Update: Completed + Water Flow Test Video]

Just out of curiosity, the air box on the Badlands has a drain hole. Is that true for the Everglades air box also?
  11. Trail technical ratings and Badlands nonSaS

Thanks for the reply. Us non-Loren Healy types still like off-Roading. I will be extra cautious rather than extra bold. Like they say about pilots: There are old pilots, and there are bold pilots, but there are no old bold pilots. PS, from one service guy to another, thanks for your service!
  12. Trail technical ratings and Badlands nonSaS

Those who have taken a stock Badlands nonSaS off-road may have an opinion about how difficult a trail a stock Badlands can handle. I was looking at OnX Trail rating criteria at: https://www.onxmaps.com/offroad/app/features/technical-trail-ratings I am estimating that a 7-rated trail may be too...

My Oxford White Badlands has arrived today at SAC! I wonder how long dealer prep takes?
  14. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

Thanks for the info. Rock Auto sells the parts for about $900. But, I don’t think I can get parts as soon as I need. And, I read concerns about the upper control arms so I will have more time to decide.
