I just got a set of these with my ford pass points, looking forward to putting them on my Bronco. do I need to modify the stock bump stops?
  2. Rear Brakes - Normal Dealer Cost

I replaced the pads on mine around 52k miles
  3. Rear Brakes - Normal Dealer Cost

do them yourself. I did mine and saved a ton of money... didn't replace rotors.. just make sure you research how to put it in brake maintenance mode before doing the rear brakes. The worst part is removing the heavy wheels/tires.
  4. Winding down 2025: a year of adventures. Post yours!

Road trip from Sacramento CA to Killeen TX to visit my parents. I hadn't seen my dad in 10 years since he moved from CA to TX, and it was his 78th birthday, so I coordinated with my mom to drive out there (they're divorced but civil, and live just 2 miles from each other). I had ChatGPT map...

  6. 3 Broncos and a Jeep hit Signal Peak

Nice! if you're on facebook, check out Gold Country Broncos - we are a group of Bronco enthusiasts based out of Sacramento, but we have people join us on drives from all over the bay area. Good group of people, we encourage Bronco Sport owners to come along on the easier drives, and are even...

love the write-up, man .. I was glued to my computer on the livestream watching your guys progress, the whole time. Kudos to you for doing the ironman (which you neglected to mention) - where YOU drove the entire. fucking. thing. Insane. My eyes start rolling back in my head after driving...
  10. 3 Broncos and a Jeep hit Signal Peak

The Sacramento valley has been in a blanket of fog for about two weeks - several of us wanted to get out and get above the fog, so we headed up the hill. A good trail, 6/10 difficulty. Of course, I got a ton of lights and chimes right before one of the more complicated obstacles, and 4WD...
  11. ABS light, Service AdvanceTrac, Park Aid Fault, etc

I've had this series of issues happen several times - yesterday was while I was offroading and coming up to an obstacle that required 4wd.. I got all the tones and lights on the dash about Advancetrac, sensors, 4wd not available, etc.. I had been in 4wd for about an hour and a half on the trail...
  12. Where do you stow your recovery gear?

I just toss it in the back - kinetic rope, morrflate 4-way setup, shovel are the only things I bring with me when I offroad - in 5 years of offroading, I've never needed traction boards, so I stopped bringing them. I built a platform for the back to make it level when the back seats are folded...
  13. Road trip - Sacramento CA to Killeen TX - 3 days each way

I'm 55 .. it was actually nice doing it alone (my wife would never want to sit in a car for 12+ hours a day!)... I think because I enjoy taking detours for photos, it gave me the freedom to do whatever I wanted and take as much time as I wanted to get some cool photos/video. It was truly...
  14. Road trip - Sacramento CA to Killeen TX - 3 days each way

yup.. about 12-14 hours a day... but I really enjoyed it
  15. Road trip - Sacramento CA to Killeen TX - 3 days each way
