I am living here in Utah, but will not be buying my Bronco in state. I have had a lot of problems with dealers here in Utah in the past. I bought a 2019 Ford Ranger last September and when I tried getting a better negotiating pricing they wouldn't help me at all especially LHM Draper. I was able to get my Ranger for $36k off the lot in Seattle otherwise they offered me the same vehicle for $43k at LHM Draper.

I really wanted to go through LHM Draper to get my Bronco but they lost my trust with how they sell their vehicles and how they act with you. I am buying my Bronco from Lithia Idaho Falls. Glad to here others here in Utah are buying a Bronco though! Can't wait to see you out on the road!

Well LHM Draper Deleted me off their Private Bronco Facebook group for bringing up and encouraging these ideas of a competitive market. Hope I can take away a substantial amount of their business through many other avenues at this point. Greedy grown ass Children is what I am taking away from their work ethics....

@11Bronco1776 well i should say that what they did shocks me but it doesnt....They have always been that way and like I said I have never had a good experience with them! They tried selling me a Ranger way over priced. Recently my sister tried buying a Ford Edge through them and they quoted her a price for a vehicle that wasnt even in the lot and was down in american fork. Plus my mom just went into the service department because her A/C on her 2020 Explorer wasnt working and they didnt even fix it. Sooooo if i could describe them like you have they are Greedy grown ass children!

Looks like that is 2 of us not buying from them. Could be nearly a 100k loss for them. Thanks for sharing

Hey group. My Dealer was Ken Garff in American Fork. I emailed their head of sales asking if they would match Granger. They were polite, but stated that they can’t match Granger and will be selling at MSRP. I switched to Granger.

@Rovertbee happy for you! Utah dealers are straight garbage! After not only my experience but hearing what everyone else has been going through I say shame on our states dealers. They are losing a lot of business and the people buying from them I say to you good luck and have fun getting screwed over

Granger emailed me today. They do NOT have any plans to bulk ship to Utah like they are to Colorado. Looks like I'll be flying out to IA for a road trip back. $1300 off invoice on a 4-dr Badlands has got to save me $4-6k.

@Rovertbee do you have the x-plan as well? or is that just what they are offering to everyone?

@CDawg297! Yes, I signed up for MCA to get x-plan. Granger stated they'll sell for $1000 under invoice on all reservations, and $1300 under invoice with x-plan.

Glad to find this group. Anybody talked with Tim Dahle in Spanish Fork? I haven't yet.. but when I was shopping for my truck they seemed to be pretty easy to work with.

I ended finding a CPO in Dallas and saving like ~$10k of a new one so went that route, so didn't buy from Tim Dahle. Road trip back was really fun. Almost want to buy out of state just for that.

I also wonder if a small dealer like Tischner in Santaquin might be willing to work a deal to get some volume?

Also echo that LHM is the worst. Ken Garff doesn't seem much better. They are both pretty much of the attitude that "the price is the price, don't like it? don't care. There are plenty of clueless people who buy from us every day."

@CDawg297! I’ll be part of the Granger buyers driving my Badlands through Badlands NP back to Utah. Question for you, did you do anything different when you drove your new ranger here from Seattle for your engine break in? They say it’s not good to run a new engine at constant speed/rpm for the first 500 miles. Did you do anything different on your drive? Take back roads, not use cruise control and constantly adjust your speed, etc

@Brichan to be honest i didnt do anything special. I drove the highway and had zero problems. I think the whole break in the engine thing is a myth. I mean if you break an engine with 500 miles how reliable is the engine really? A brand new vehicle should be able to operate really well.

@CDawg297! Thanks. I’m sure I won’t end up doing much different either, but like you, am really looking forward to a fun road trip in the new ride.

I admit Utah dealers aren't the best but as I was shopping nationally for my truck I found that AZ dealers are even worse. The handful I talked with had a pretty good price posted. I called for an OTD and they all added $3k~$4k in mandatory dealer add-ons. "rust protection, tinted windows, extra long lasting blinker fluid" crazy..

This is my first post. I live in American Fork and have a Black Diamond reservation with Ken Garff Ford, (who I am not committed to at all). Very interested in this thread and saving money on my new Bronco.

Welcome! Hopefully you have better luck at Ken Garff than I did.

Someone needs to plan a B6G UBOG (Utah Bronco Owners Group) meet somewhere next year after we all have them. I am anti-social and have no organizational skills so won't even try. But would attend if someone else did.

Can't be at a restaurant in town either.. Just throw out a GPS coordinate someplace BFE out in the west desert or Uintahs or ?
