My guess, similar to a comparable jeep would be a good place to start although probably slightly higher due to initial repair parts availability.

It will be in line with most other new Ford crossovers, trucks, and SUVs. I wouldn't expect a higher premium due to parts availability. My Ranger, and other vehicles I've purchased upon release, haven't had a lack of parts availability premium.

My insurance went down when I got my truck. And I went from a much cheaper vehicle. This is also all very dependent on where you live. I live 2 1/2 miles from Detroit so insurance is gonna get me. I fully expect my premiums to remain the same as my Ranger, if not go lower.

Parts availability can hurt insurance costs on Teslas and low volume high end vehicles. The insurance market has confidence in Ford to take care of business. When the F150 went aluminum, premiums didn't skyrocket. They remained the same or lower than the outgoing F150. Ford is actually very good at building up parts supplies.

If you are going from a vehicle with any of the ADAS features (lane assist, active braking, collision avoidance) to a model with it, I know mid has it maybe all of them have some features? It may bring your rate down. My sons Ranger, from a Dakota, exact same coverage was about $180 a year less.
