Can you change dealerships without messing up your reservation number? Kind of getting frustrated with my dealer. Keep saying they are having problems with Ford ordering. I'm wondering if I'm getting pushed down on their list.

And is it correct to believe that the reservation number maintains your place in "line" regardless of when you officially order (as long as its before March 29)?

Yes and yes. But make sure to speak with the dealer before you transfer there. Supposedly some dealers were seeing if they could place transfer orders after their original orders. In the end, it’s Ford who decides the order so as long as your dealer submits it, it should be your rightful place in line.

appreciate the reply. What's the possibility - if you know - of picking up your Bronco from the plant? I have this fantasy of taking time off to fly out and drive it home.

I haven’t heard any rumblings of plant pickup. There was talk today that they are shooting to crank out 1,000 Broncos a day — with that, Detroit pickup seems highly unlikely. A few hundred of us are either flying to Granger in Iowa to drive our Broncos home or are a part of group shipping from Granger to the Front Range. The idea of meeting up with 10-15 CO Bronco owners to car pool home does sound like a blast. Fingers crossed for accessible vaccines over the next few months.

Granger Ford Iowa? Do you they have a large amount of Bronco orders? I've seen a lot of people are going through them. I bought an F150 from Woodhouse in Blaine, NE a few years back. Super great to work with.

On reservation numbers, is there a way to know what the starting numbers are?

I’m not sure if this answers your question but Granger has said they are happy with their allocation. To me that means Ford awarded them around 30% of their total reservations as allocations. I’ve heard from a few dealers and buyers that if you didn’t reserve in the first few days, you are likely to get a 22. If I remember right, Zach from Granger said that nearly 50% of their orders came in the first 3-4 days (Zach the owner of granger and Albert the Bronco specialist are very active on the forum). Your time stamp will follow you into 22, eg if you submit your day one 7/13 reservation with a white top as your build, you’ll be one of the first builds once they change over the production line in December. But take all this with a grain of salt, I’m just a dude on the internet trying to help! Hopefully others will chime in if I steered you wrong anywhere.
