Does anyone in the Michigan Group have their reservation at Hines Park? I have been less than satisfied with overall communication and general Bronco knowledge from the salesperson. She did tell me that they have 204 reservations but would not tell me my spot in line. No ordering appointment scheduling communication either.

I'm not at that dealer, but I have about the same experience with mine... If that helps, or makes you feel like you're not alone.

@gamma_j My salesperson indicated that Ford was not using any dealer allocations for the Bronco launch...We know that is just not correct.

@DasQball Yeah, I'm having pretty much the same experience. My dealer doesn't even seem to know how the allocations work or if they even have any. I had to call my dealer and discuss because they seem to be just now looking at how everything works based on my phone call asking questions.

I have my reservation at Hines Park and just had the exact same conversation with my salesperson. She told me that there were no dealer allocations and that I just needed to come in a place my order and then Ford would tell me in May when I get one. I am thinking of waiting for 22MY even though I have a 7/16 reservation date.

BTW - like the name, Go Rocks!

I sort of get the salespeople focused on what they can sell today, but it seems shortsighted to me. My little dealer in Tawas was super responsive, excited about the Bronco, totally on top of the process and executed the process as laid out by Ford. Clearly the information was available and the process works if the dealer bothers to engage. So far, they will be getting all my business. After my last sales guy passed away, I started looking around, as my dealer was just sort of average. Our cabin is near Tawas and we are there often anyway.

I feel like some of this place in line stuff and dealer communication has been blown out of proportion. My dealer called me last week and I converted my reservation, but I don't know where I'm at in line. I deal with the sales manager at another Detroit Area dealer. He's knowledgeable about the process, and processed my order quickly and efferently. That's all I care about. Everything else will take care of itself and it is unnecessary for me to worry about it.

@atonge40 I agree with you, but I, personally, would like some type of communication from the dealer, even if it is "hey we have your reservation. _______ is your salesperson. We are working out our schedule for ordering." I had to reach our for that much. Its frustrating. I shouldn't have to do the work.

@Shamrocklax03 I agree. E-mail once the $100 reservation was made. E-mail when the order banks were open and an overview of the process, a call to schedule the build, an e-mail when you converted you order, and an e-mail when build scheduling starts. That should be the absolute minimum.
