Long Island Broncos

Has anyone from Long Island heard from their dealer yet in regards to placing an order?

Not yet, but I head that Crown Ford has 250 reservations, so I'm going to be patient while I still mull over so many choices (2dr 2.3 BD or BB loaded up or 4dr 2.7 BB). I'm still up in the air on colors lol. I'll give them a week or so before I walk over there.

I called Hassett in Wantagh. They really didn't seem to know anything about the questions I had. Did not know when the ordering will be open, didn't know how many Broncos they were being allocated etc.

@LIBronco If they are saying they dont know - may be time to switch dealers.... Ford had a webinar and sent all of the dealers all of the info we are seeing in these forums

Yes! Sayville Ford has been good with communication. We already have the B&P ready and gave them a deposit so the order can be sent in next week. My reservation date was 7/14......

how much of a deposit did they ask for?

Called Hassett today, Salesmen Tom Cinnelli said he watched the info guide and he is waiting on Ford to give them the green light. I already have everything ready to order and put a deposit down, I know what I want. He will be calling me as soon as he gets the go ahead.. I will only use Hassett, Hempstead was my dealer for years until they screwed me out of tons of money. I have been using Tom for around 11 years now and could not be happier. 3 Escapes, 1st died at 165000 miles, 2nd totaled, 3rd only 61000 miles and going strong

My dealer here on LI NY has over 120 reservations with 38 Allocations with a 7/15 reservation I may be stuck till 22. In that case I may have to look at Jeeps . Spoke with them today .

I am just trying to wait patiently to here from Crown Ford. Figured I would give them benefit of the doubt. Ford keeps saying "you're dealer will contact you..."

I did, however, check my reservation status to make sure it is still a reservation (it is) and not been converted to an order. Some scary stories in here about dealers converting on their own.

Anyway, based on what I've been reading her it seems like my Wildtrak build will be unlikely for 2021. Plus I am still struggling on color... A51 or Carbonized Gray ?!?!?! Aaargh....

@jrstorm1007 I totally get it! Once I solve the color dilemma then I have the hard top color dilemma to deal with... although I think if its A51, its black top, if Carb Gray its MIC.... we all got problems. Lol. That's the other reason why I'm not rushing out to the dealer. If I'm being honest.

@Double IPA I actually like A51 with the mic gray and CG with white top.

We will be twins. I was carbonized gray all along but now leaning to A51. The interior accents will match the exterior. And yes I am back to Wildtrak. I also am going with the Mod top since just about everything I am ordering could be late availability so I will wait and get what I want. @Double IPA

Color is the hardest decision

@mrjerry469 its the down side of having too many choices. Think thats why I chose the Wildtrak. Most the other choices are made for you with that trim level.

Not sure I see a downside here. PA is not all that far from us. I traded a few DM's with him and pretty sure I will be moving my reservation and placing my order with Chapman Ford of Horsham in PA.... just as soon as I can finally decide on a color.

Does anyone have their reservation with or is anyone ordering through Hempstead Ford? I’ve spoken with their sales department and MSRP is the best they’re offering. Going to check out the offer from @DealerInsider...

Go see Frank Romeo, old timer, at Hempstead Ford. No BS..1K down..pay sticker..Will refund downpymt if I dont like demo they are getting in the spring. Headroom a issue.
