My only outstanding decisions are to squatch or not, pod lights, and tube doors. Going BD, A51, 2.7, MIC Roof w/ Rack, Mid, A4x4, Tow, SUP and retractable awning. I think pricing will play a big role in those outstanding questions and am hoping that when the additional accessories come out, I don't want any of them immediately.

Here's my dilemma. Maybe you all can help talk me through it. I think my husband is just over it all!

I know for sure that I want a 2 door, 2.7 automatic, a 12 inch screen and Velocity Blue. I will be using this for daily driving, light trails (occasionally) and at the beach. I definitely don't need it squatched. I thought the OB would be my best best. Then they released the interiors. Then I saw pictures of it next to other trims. So I started looking at the BL. Love the mgv interior, the orange accents will even go well with the VB. But adding in the 2.7 auto and the 12 inch screen puts me $7k over what the OB is and $2k over what I had set in my mind as my max (ok, let's be honest.....that figure is already $5k above what my original budget was!!!). If I get the BL, I won't need to do anything to it......but it will also be overkill for my needs. If I get the OB, I will eventually want to get at least 33s on it (but do I need a lift, different gearing? Will doing that aftermarket void the warranty?). I know there are a few threads around about whether it's possible to just swap those out but I haven't really kept up with them. I'd also need to get seat covers. And can I really deal with that navy pier interior clashing with my VB? Sigh.

@LalasBronco Why not go with the 2.3L to save some money? It will easily have enough power to push 33s.

Also, I’m confident that the OBX would fit 33s out of the box.

@LalasBronco Budget aside, I have gotten vehicles in the past that I later regretted. I settled on options and colors because of a couple dollars. I ended up trading it in still owing money and spent more than I would have had i just gotten what I wanted originally. If you can afford to and you won't be house poor or living out of your Bronco because of it, go with all the things you can't live without and you will not have any regrets.

@1979 Maybe I need to go test drive each of those engines. We have my little 4 cylinder engine and my husband's hemi. His truck is way more fun to drive! I like that get up and go that I'm just not sure the 2.3 will have.

I’m going Badlands 2.7 Lux SAS. My theory is get as much from Ford as possible so it’s all under warranty and I won’t need to modify as soon as I get it. I’ve bought too many cars and regretted not getting this or that having settled on saving a few bucks. But only to end up spending more later to modify with aftermarket stuff. It may be more now but it’s wrapped up in a monthly payment at a low percentage rate. I won’t want to spend cash after purchase to upgrade suspension, tires etc. my two cents....
