I watched a couple of decent videos from Holly Oaks off road park. Maybe everyone has seen these, but if not, it's probably worth a few minutes to check out. looks like 33's or over are kind of the ticket for the bigger obstacles.

This excites me! I'm not sure how crazy I'll get for the first few years in my brand new $50k+ vehicle, but it looks like a great place for me to learn how to use various off road features and capabilities of my Bronco in the safety of a park rather than up north or in the middle of nowhere. Same with Silver Lake Dunes. Can't wait!! We'll have to do a Michigan Bronco Club meet up at Holly Oaks and Silver Lake.

@CDN Jen And I just talked my wife out of the Sasquatch package. If she sees this video, she'll want it again!

It looks like a great spot to try a number of different “disciplines “. I was surprised at how full size vehicle friendly it is. From what I read and saw, they are getting some noise complaints, primarily from motorcycle traffic. They closed for the winter, not sure if it was related to noise, it certainly wasn’t due to lack of use, apparently they were regularly selling out tickets. I wanted to go have my son try out his new truck this week at Holly Oaks, but noticed they closed for the winter. I would go “up north” but I can’t get anyone motivated to go to the cabin in the cold?

Looks intimidating. I also don’t know if I would take a $50k vehicle there. You could do a lot of damage is a short time.

@BCA This video is less intimidating. Shows some beginner areas.

That was a cool video too. I will try most of it I am sure. I have always wheeled my vehicles a bit, regardless of price ? I wheeled my bike on the rocks at DTE today.

like how the BRONCO letters are still there from the various media programs...
I'd be down for exploring it gently, though if I'm going to really push my Bronco hard, I'd like to see something a little more interesting in the process (Drummond, anyone?) :)

Drummond is on my list and somewhere I have not been. Silver Lake too, but that area I am pretty familiar with ?? We have a cottage on the East side that has some decent spots and I know other members are interested in showing us some of their local “haunts” as well. I am looking forward to it!
