Nice. So I’m just trying to get a trail ride started. Nothing super formal or anything. The organization that was originally scheduled to ride those trails in August cancelled but I’m already taking off work so I’d still like to find people to go. We could do a full circle trail ride or point A to B. I’m thinking 3 days 2 nights Friday thru Sunday

Jawbone Canyon Road goes from the redrock canyon area to Kernville area. I have done this trail a few years ago, was not too difficult. Was this one of the trails you are thinking of?
There are lots of other trails in the redrock canyon area, from easy to difficult.
Last Chance Canyon is a well know trail that is the one of the most difficult ones in the redrock canyon area.
I dont know if you have a plan on where to go but Here is a screen shot of my GPX track in the red rock area.

Sorry I cant make this. Have fun it is a really cool area, lots of old mines, rock formations in the read rock canyon area. On the Kernville side past Kernville there is Sherman peak trail that I have yet to do but I plan to at some point. "Sherman Peak Trail - Sequoia National Forest. This trail is 4-miles round trip from the Vista at Sherman Pass, climbing to the top of Sherman Peak at an elevation of 9,909 feet, offering a 360-degree views"
