Has anyone heard of any Bronco events coming up in Georgia? Such as an Off-Roadeo event?

Nothing yet. Hoping there is such an event, formal one, that is close to attend for us. The one that was announced for Austin sounds great! I do plan on looking up places that are around GA to mildly test the rig out on. Maybe we can get a group together for such an outing?

Yeah. That would be fun. Meet in person, hang out and give the rigs a little test!

Have to do some research for some places. I wonder if there's a thread of such a topic that has already been started? Granted, info on close-to-GA places probably won't be listed.

So I’ve done some research already there are several off-road parks in Georgia. Beasley Knob OHV Trails, Durham Off Road Resort, Tatum Lead OHV trail. I’m sure there are others most of these are more Northeast GA. I believe Bronco did some mud testing here in GA but not sure where.

Well done!!!! I can't wait to dig in online to check some of these places out! I thought there would be some on the east of Atlanta since I had of off road tracks there for dirt bikes and quad-runners. But the NE will be way more scenic!

Personally, I like the USFS roads as opposed to the off-road parks, for a few reasons: less crowded, better scenery, and more relaxing. I suppose it depends on what you're looking for. With the OHV's, there's more terrain types/obstacles in one place. With the FS roads, terrain is varied, but there's no one else out there. Plenty of great places to stop for a picnic lunch or something also.

Awesome! I have a handful of tabs open now for some good reading on this!

Check this out too. It has all of the FS roads, their grade (passenger car, high cleareance, etc), and also has camping, fishing, overlooks, waterfalls, etc.

As for events, I am kinda thinking that our first in person view might be at the International Car Show, which is in, I believe, Feb.

I go almost every year.

@TitusTerrebonne It is. Ford had a heavy presence there. It's usually more about trucks and SUVs than sports cars. I don't think BMW was even there. Ford had a Mach-E, which was cool to sit in .

I had hoped to see a Colorado ZR2 there, but Chevy only brought the Z71. Ford had the Ranger FX4 there, which looked to be a nice truck.

Anyways, yes, it's downtown.

@tomknight I hope that happens, hopefully Rona will be almost under control so it can happen.

@TitusTerrebonne yeah, me too. By then, they would certainly have the Bronco at the show. Not sure how we'll see one any sooner, but maybe there'll be an event here or nearby.

Here's another one for you to check out. I've done parts and pieces of this, but I was hoping to get this truck in time to take a 4-day weekend and do it from end to end next Fall.

@tomknight That was a good site! I finally got to take a look at what was posted and more excited about trying some of these places out. Kind of like a whole underworld out there since I had no clue it existed.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ford does something at Durhamtown. They've featured it in some of their official content for the Bronco and used it for test mules a few months back. Would be sick if they did an Offrodeo there.
