I'm thinking next up is a winch set up...so...

For those of you with ACC, MOD bumper, bull bar, and winch, what did you end up getting? Originally I was thinking hidden winch down below, but if ridding with everyone has taught me anything, mud gets EVERYWHERE and I've become worried about keeping that area clean for when I need it. Additionally I haven't found one that doesn't impact the approach angle without spending like 4x other set up costs so I've scrapped that idea.

Right now I'm currently thinking JCR with a warn and camera relocation bracket...but there are soo many options lol...so figured I would reach out for opinions.

Anything else you guys think I should prioritize next other then a winch?

I did have the modular bumper and a JCR winch plate. Honestly had no issues with them (I will put for sale in a few days once I get picks.).

I just replaced with the hyper lite Turn off Road Bumpoer, winch, bull bar set up. The metal is thinner (hence the light version) but I needed better clearance for my tires and this does the trick. Looks good, and the approach angle issue with the JCR is now fixed. Bonus > SUPER CHEAP.

And once you use the Winch once you will never regret having it on board.

You will need camera relocation, and ACC relocation, but that was done on mine years ago.

What would you be selling the JCR winch plate for?

@TheI3lindMan Sure you need a winch? I know a lot of guys have it, but doubt most have ever been in a situation to use it. Sure, you may be able to help drag the occasional Prius off the trail in N. GA, or tree or when wheeling alone, but as long as you stay on the trails, other means can get you out. and a trusty shovel is much cheaper and just as fun to use. If you're committed to the purchase or plan to hit more nasty rock crawling, ok, like maybe on trips West or to OHV parks like Windrock up in Tenn.

I'm sort of with Ray on this one but it really comes down to if you're wheeling with a group or going out solo. Sure you may need a winch occasionally on the segen6 rides but you're also likely with people that have options. I say wait a bit until you really feel like it's needed unless you know for sure you'll be out alone.

I have used my winch all of once and that was the result of zero planning and a refusal to just go back the way I came. Definitely not a priority item and was an impulse buy I could do without.

It has seen more use pulling stumps and logs out of my back yard.

Ya maybe yall are right...just in the mindset of better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it...but I get what yall are saying.

@TheI3lindMan For sure. Hope this rain we get this week helps with the forest fires and would mean a dry next Sunday. I’ve seen several trails farther East in the state are currently closed due to the SC fires, very sad.

Y'all haven't been to windrock! But it's also fun to be the guy who pulls the Jeep out when needed =)

Tested out the Morrflate tonight…holy cow that thing works fast…went from 20-39 in like 5 mins…not to mention it monitored and shut off itself!
