Well my windshield has experienced its first case of cracking on the drive home from Nashville yesterday.

Anyone have any above and beyond glass replacement providers they have used in the past? Would like to avoid safelight if possible. Want to have a few names on hand if my insurance limits my options.

Haven't replaced the WS on my Bronco - or on my Jeep before that. But had to on my previous car several times, and just went with safelite each time I believe. Always seemed to be the quickest & easiest way to handle it.

Th dealer can order an OEM. But I've heard pricing to be near 1K

Just had mine done by glass America...came out to my house..I had them do oem glass..no cost..I have glass coverage thru state farm...and I believe I live close to you

@Calm horse I need to call my agent. I have always had glass coverage in previous vehicles with State Farm. I called them out of curiosity a few months ago, once I heard from others what the glass on these things cost . They told me that they don’t do glass coverage anymore in GA and that I don’t have it on my policy. They have some explaining to do

@Broncory I didn't even know I had it..I called my agent to make a payment by phone and was curious about deductibles and that's when they told me I have glass coverage! And they approved an oem as well

@Calm horse yup looks like glass america had OEM and it's going in tomorrow. Had a $100 deductible for glass replacement through state farm but I'll take it.

They had the oem available and was able to do within a day or 2, but hen had to postpone another day because it was to cold about 2 weeks ago

Glass America I believe is owned by safelight, but I had good experience with them
