New Off-Rodeo Location - Smokey Mountain National Park in Tennessee.

We finally have an Off-Rodeo location that‘s not a flight, so since I have yet to attend, thinking of a date in October to register. The fall foliage should be coming in and it’ll be a great experience for those who own a Bronco, but like me, have yet to do an Off-Rodeo. Whether new or even for those of us who venture out, nothing ever beats driver training of any kind; always something to learn or confirm. Registration opened today and I’m going to do so. Think about giving attending, as it’ll help to build confidence in the rig and your skills in someone else’s rig. Ha ha!

I'm going October the 7th. I just randomly picked that date. It is a Monday.

Well worth it. I went to the one outside of Austin, the first site when that was the only site. I wish this site had been available then.

I went *before* I got my Bronco in 2022. You had to prove you had a confirmed order and give a refundable deposit, so people didn't go and then not follow through and buy their Bronco.

Two reasons I went early. I admit, I was skeptical how long Ford would keep this "Off-Roadeo" program going. Even if they did, I thought they'd probably put more resources towards it and do it right early. And I wanted to drive a Bronco as soon as possible to try it out. Many people there changed their orders based on what they learned during the program, it convinced a bunch of people to upgrade.

I was able to drive a manual transmission Bronco on the second day there, but I had to ask. I've since heard that they may only be offering automatics. :( I wanted to drive something as close as possible to what I ordered. Probably less risk for them without manual transmissions, but the Bronco in 4L with crawler gear is like cheating, so it's not a problem.

Have fun!

Went to the MOAB one 2 years ago now. It was a blast! Didn't have the Bronco yet and managed to nab one that was the exact same options-wise aside from the color. Really informative and gave me *so much* confidence in the platform before taking possession.

Having driven our Bronco for almost 2 years now, I don't know that it's worth the trip out West again, but one this close to home would be a lot of fun. Especially since we can bring our own! If you haven't done any serious off-roading with your Bronco yet, or if you straight up don't have one yet, this is a must-do.

The wife and I decided on Thursday Oct 10. Avoids college football and better for the work week. We’ll head up on Wednesday and stay through Friday or Saturday and likely do some more wheeling in the area that Wednesday once we arrive. She can’t wait and neither can I! Hope a few more of you guys decide to join, but even if another date, think it’ll be well worth the cost and trip.

This is good news and I'd love to be able to "re-attend" Off-Rodeo. My wife and I made the drive out to Off-Rodeo Texas which was great, but having a location so close (just 3 hrs. for me) would be awesome. Guess my only option is to buy a second Bronco so I can get to go again! :)

Do yall know if they'll let you drive your personal bronco on this one or just one of theirs?

@Calm horse Interesting question and thought; not sure we know. You may want to reach out to the Off-Roadeo customer service for that answer. May be a liability thing for them, but let us know what you find.

@Calm horse Back when I did it, customer owned Broncos were very few. There were a couple in attendance, but they did not allow them to be used. I think it is better that way - you get to try one out that is not the same as the one you own.

I did the one in NH when I lived there, was less than an hour away from where I lived. It was great, and the only off-roading I have ever done. It is a very educational experience and PLENTY of behind the wheel time.

I would love to do another one, not sure what they charge for a second time around.

Coincidentally, I am wearing my NH Off-Rodeo TShirt!
