Remember to mark your calendars for next Saturday, May 25th for our Bronco Poker Run!


I just met last night with the owner of Bubba's 33 (and HRBC club member), Sherry Jarratt. Seriously, I am not sure if I have met someone else with a bigger sense of community and heart as her. She has been amazing in the planning for this event, as has Abby Angus of NC Bronco Club. I would not have been able to do this without their help.

I am finalizing everything, and we are close to kick off with just one week away from this event!

UPDATES TO THE EVENT:
Like I said, amazing things have been happening and I am so grateful for everyone involved and for every single person who is interested in this event. I have some updates to share with you all.

Sherry and her team at her restaurant have created an exclusive Bronco Poker Run Brunch just for us on the morning of the event. She has created a special menu and will be opening Bubba's 33 early just for Bronco event participants. I've attached the menu to this post. Remember, please drink responsibly.

Youtubers Duane and Gavin from Driven Wild Outdoors are interested in livestreaming the event on their Instagram! They have fantastic videos about cars and Broncos that are very informative and they have a good following on YouTube for us non-social media folks! Brunch starts at 9am and you can then register for the event when you're finished in the same dining area as the brunch.

Registration starts at 10am. The registration will be in the same area as the brunch, so you can find it with ease. At registration, you'll receive scorecards to include a map with addresses of all locations, and you will draw your first card. You will also receive one raffle ticket. You can also purchase more raffle tickets at this time (or when you have returned and before prize announcements begin).

First vehicles out at 11am.The first vehicles will begin to roll out at 11am and will head to three locations along the route to draw other cards. The last stop will be back at Bubba's 33 where you will draw your fifth and final card.

Last vehicle in at 4pm. To be considered for the top prize, the last vehicle must return by 4pm. Whenever the last vehicle returns, the scores will be considered, and prizes will be given out promptly.

TOP PRIZE FOR THE EVENT:
The top prize for the event has been established at $500 cash which has been donated. To win this, you must have the best poker hand of the event! We will be scoring the cards once you've drawn your last card and turned in your hand. You must be present to win.

We will have other prizes drawn (10 other prizes and counting) via the raffle so hold on to your raffle tickets.

Prices for the event:
Entry to the poker run is at $25/vehicle which gets you one scorecard. Additional scorecards can then be purchased at $10/card thereafter. You will also receive one raffle ticket with your original entry.

Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20 which can be purchased at the time of registration or when you're back at Bubba's 33 before prizes are announced.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Make-A-Wish. Donations for this charity during the event are also welcome.

This event is a bit of a dream come true for me, as this started as an idea in my head. I always want to bring people together in the name of Broncos and to help others in the community and this does both.
