Anyone in CO that has and knows how to use ForScan? I would like to do a few things but have no idea how the system works and none of the required equipment.

I'd be happy to meet up somewhere

I have a laptop and the connector and some experience with ForScan. Where are you located?

Just curious what all are you thinking about changing?

The first thing would definitely be getting rid of the double honk when you get out with the key while the engine is running. On my F150 I enabled secure idle and I am wondering if anyone has done this with the Bronco? Also wondering if you can enable global windows UP? I know stock it has global windows down, not sure why they don't go up though (must be safety/liability related).

The double honk is at the top of the list of things to remove. I also want to add sport mode to the GOAT modes. I'm in Denver but can meet up somewhere if that's easier

I tuned off Double Honk, Auto Stop Start, added Sport Mode, changed tire size for accuracy and lowered my TPMS to 25 for airing down and not getting the nagging warning. I need to go back to the ForScan thread and see if there is a Global Windows Up.

@SevenT I'm used to the dongle cables costing $500 so to be honest when I saw the prices of forscan my first thought it is a China knockoff and want to look more into it before hooking it to my new car. Looks like plenty of you messed with it though.

If you don't mind I'm trying to familiarize myself with forscan. I understand the coding part of it. . So if I have a computer I'm assuming I download forscan I can purchase a license to use it. The hardware is what I'm questioning: To connect the OBD to the USB port do you need a special cable or can I use any USB/OBDII dongle? Other vehicles there is coding in the dongle so the software knows it's authentic allowing you to use the software.

@HereInOhio I turned it off and it cost me $10 for a ForScan license.

To all on this thread, I have the current list of what can be modified with ForScan. I have done some of them and they work. Don't buy the equipment if you need this done, I will volunteer my equipment and time to do it for you. I will be out of town wheeling on Feb 26th. I could meet at a central location this Sunday afternoon (Feb. 27th after 1 PM). I am gone again March 2nd to 6th for United by Bronco at Sand Hollow, UT.
