Shenandoah National Park: Hiking, Camping, & Offroading
Got a chance to do what I finally bought this thing for a couple of weeks ago. Camped a couple of days on farmland in Broadway, Va. Got some random visits from farm animals and was amazed by the cacophony of sounds nature has to offer at night, lol. Did some hiking at Shenandoah National Park and saw some beautiful views. Afterward got to run Peters Mill Run, which was a step up from some of the very flat trails I had run before. I'm working to step up the difficulty and contemplating Potts Mountain maybe next!!!

Great pictures and videos, @NatureBoy looks like you had fun (it is cool to see some little piggy paid you a visit too! By the looks of your video, it seems like it was pretty quiet on the trail. I'm sure that was relaxing, yet exciting! We didn't get a chance to do Potts when we went up there a few weeks back, but we want to give it a go again soon now that my Jeep buddy got his lift.
Thanks for sharing!

That's awesome!! I need to get back out that way myself. Can you show me how you secured your traction boards?

Lol, with bungees. I stacked them on top of each other and put each hook in a hole on the traction board. The plastic hook on the end of the bungee was just the right size to hook and clamp the boards together. Then I hooked the other end to the roof bar below it. Did this to the front and back, with 4 bungee cords total. All that stuff is held on there with clever bungee cord use
