We are planning on going on a laid back trail run around the blue ridge area with a mixed group of folks mainly broncos but some jeep on August 19th.

Will follow up with some more info if there is any interest.

Count me in for the 19th.

If weather holds tomorrow, thinking about heading up to run Springer Mtn Road and a couple others in that trail network. Noontootla Road is a nice one with a stream and campsites on the side that’s cool as well. Nothing technical.

@cake Did you mean for earlier today? Yep, a non-squatch would have been fine. FS 28-1 was rutted a bit today; I guess rain. Took Winding Stair, to Noontootla, then back down Springer Mtn Road. Good weather. Saw lots of Broncos which was cool. Two totally naked and looked to be having a blast was MyATV and I today.

Sounds like the plan is to meet in ellijay,ga at the hardees at 8:00-8:15am

Alright for all interested here is a more firm timeline.

Trail ride Saturday August 19th. 900am. We will meet at the parking lot of the 1st Baptist Church in Ellijay 164 Dalton Street Ellijay Ga. We will head through the Cohutta Forest to Lake Conasauga and then to Cashes Valley. We will wind up back in Blue Ridge around 1230ish for lunch (tbd)Fuel up before hand

@Macho Yeah this is a go. Be there before 9AM. Lunch is pretty fluid at this point. Sounds like this could end up being a pretty large group outing. I think at this point there will be 8 broncos, and 3-4 jeeps.

Whoever is going if there is interest in going to a winery after the ride let me know. Sounds like a few of the others will be going to roo winery.

@MadMan4BamaNATL I notice there's a joint across the street from the church called Corner Stone Cafe that opens at 8am. Not sure if they know how to toss together flour & lard, but I may find myself wandering in there.

@MyATV Lard = yummy! Been so long since I’ve had a Hardee’s. Will have to see how early I can pull out. Think I may leave just after 6am. Gas, potty, Hardee’s; should be there with a few minutes to spare.
