Had a client to visit up near Fort Payne, AL. Decided to head out early and take the opportunity to run some trails through the Little River Canyon reserve area.

Went down trail 4 and 5. Trail 5 had a nice river crossing followed up by a decent hill climb.

Lots of very rutted out trails. Will definitely need to come back out with some support. Probably more of a weekend of overnight camp type of trip.

Also photo of the waterfall just off the highway maybe 5 minutes from the trail head.

@Gene Dios Looks like a solid future group ride location to me.

This was roughly 1:30 to 1:45 from my front door in woodstock. Went straight out through rome/cedartown. Depending on traffic I would not imagine it taking much longer from anything along 75 down to the 85 interchange. About 30 minutes for the trek was spent driving down 92 to 75.

Very tight trails so keep that in mind if you do venture out with a group. Not very many spots to pull over so it could be a long day of backing up or waiting for oncoming traffic to back up.
