Still going on Friday? What trails are you doing? What time you starting? I never been up that way. Would like to learn my way around if you have experience. My recovery gear is non-existent…I am a newbie. Grew up on ATVs. So moderate experience, just not with a full-size Bronco.

My plans got changed a bit. I'll just be making a run up Tray mountain around mid day. Was planning an overnight trip, but life happens.

@MyATV from reading and watching some
YouTube videos Tray Mountain is moderate. Old Bucktown Rd was also moderate…it was dry when I did it…almost didn’t need 4 wheel drive. I am going into it thinking high clearance and 4wd equipped with the ability to pick a good line…all will be well. I just got back from Moab Roadeo…the rocks we just scaled, I believe our Broncos will make any obstacle on Tray mountain seem like a cake walk. But personally, I haven’t done the trail but it should be a lot fun! Come on and join.

I haven’t run Tray Mountain. If you want to show me trail, let me know what time. And where to meet.

@Step i used 4 Hi on 2 sections. Took about 3 hours to complete.

Very shady. A few short loop obstacles, but most were wet and we couldn't see the bottom so we avoided them.

Well worth doing, not too hard but would be a challenge for AWD.

I am dropping my brother off to fish at the chattooga east of Clayton around 8am, then I’ll be off to hit some trails. My tentative plan is to do the first leg of the ga traverse starting at Burrells ford. Sarah’s creek is over that way too so I may try that as well.

I am flexible though. Helen isn’t that far away so I’ll be in touch if I’m headed that way.

I ended up doing burrells ford and stopping at the bridges on the chattooga to fish. Made my way through Hale Ridge Rd and ended up by Sarah’s creek rd. Caught some rainbow and brown trout. Nothing crazy off roading except some ruts and washouts.
