What are some good easy to moderate trails in Northeast Georgia (preference)?

I have done a lot of searching but being new to this...it is a lot to take in.

I watched the video from Beasley Knob...more than I want to chew by myself.

I went up to Lake Conasauga last week, it was nice on the FS roads but way to easy.

It would be nice to need for 4wd for a little bit but not wanting to get stuck...I do not have a winch.

Any suggestions? And while Cashes Valley looks fun, some people have reported the river crossings over 2 feet deep now...I ain't into submerging my rig.

I would rate my personality, more than a parking lot princess but not trying to pinstripe my car, it is made for fun and its my daily.

Old Buck Town road then down Nimblewell Gap. Then make your way over to FSR-28 and just explore along that. Bucktown is twisty enough you'll feel like you did something interesting. Most everything else is forest service road.

Cashes May be around 2 feet deep but you will not submerge your rig especially if it is a Braptor in your profile picture. You would not even come to the top of the tire there. I took my stock black diamond through there several times with zero issues. The broncos are designed to be able to go up to 32 inches or 35 inches if sasquatch or 37 if Braptor.

You could do Old Bucktown Rd to Nimblewell church rd 34°36'27.8"N 84°12'58.9"W up is more challenging than down. The GPS would take you to the down route.

Also Flatlands (which might be shut down haven't been out there in a while.

Beasley is advanced, but most other trails up there are fine and not as technical as that requires. Look at some of the more recent posts here in the club section, a few of us went the week before the holiday to do some easy trail runs starting at Forest Road 28-1, to Cooper Gap Road, etc, won't even need to air down. These were just gravel and dirt, but got you up in the mountains and just a fun run where you won't get stuck. However, go with someone or a small group maybe and always bring some basic recovery gear, (strap, shovel) just in case. You'll have a ton of fun and it's not a narrow trail area, so no pin stripes. Besides, pin stripes add character, so think of them as a patina. Ha! Beasley didn't scratch my rig much even though there was a lot of brushing. Still a little mud on her, so will see for sure when washing at some point in the next month.

We have the Bronco vs Jeep joint outting coming up on the 24th. That's outside of Chattanooga but it's not too far. Actually a little closer than Beasley for me but if you're already in the north east side of Georgia maybe a little far. It has a couple challenging spots but there are bypasses.

End of July we're planning a windrock camping weekend with a goal to have two groups - one for an easier route and one more serious.

I highly recommend cashes valley rd. It’s easy for a beginner or by yourself. It’s a gem.

While I've never been to Cashes before last Saturday, there are now 5 or 6 no trespassing signs before the cemetery, and it appears a gate has been installed as well. It was open, but appears to be new. If you haven't done it, it was worth doing. Seems it might be locked down soon, but that is pure speculation. Good luck.

@Glenjafett trespassing signs before the cemetery? Like after the last water crossing. Last time I went there were only trespassing signs after the cemetery. If so that’s disappointing.

@Step Yes. Before and after the last crossing before the cemetery. So the last 200 yards. There is a new gate right after the last crossing as well.

How deep were the crossings?

@coachoates shallow. No problem for a bronco. Less than 2 feet.
