I’m doing the Bronco Off Rodeo in July. Has anyone done it already? And if so, what did you think?

It was a great time. What one are you going to?

It's great. It's a quick study but you'll get a good idea of what the Bronco can do, and gain confidence in the truck. Get there on the early side, and look over the Broncos that are lined up for the day's course. Try and find a model and trim line that's as close to yours as possible--not better or inferior, so you get a feel for your own truck's capabilities when you go off-road.
It's fun, the dinner was okay but not memorable, but since you're going in July you might get a cookout (I didn't). There will be lots of Yeti and swag for your to spend your $$ on.

I did NH yesterday and it was a blast. The vehicles handled the terrain better than we had expected, even after the downpours we had the day before. My first time doing anything this technical but the training and spotting from the trail guides gave everyone a lot of confidence. Bring bug spray!! The little state birds of NH are out in force up there.

HOPEFULLY you get Hank as an instructor....good dude!
BostonSasquatch
@tasker I've seen several posts endorsing their specific instructor, which tells me that Ford has hired a good crew--they're all good. In arriving over a half-hour early, I introduced myself to the instructor, and she invited me to join her in the lead car, which (not so coincidentally) was a Badlands Sas--my model. Worked out great.

We had Hank and he was the best. He was very patient with us novices and kept us well focused. Terry and Evan were great instructors also.

Gunstock was the most fun I've had in ages, and I went by myself! I got to ride in the first car with the leader, which ended up enhancing the experience since he was giving me tips as we drove.

i just came back from the one in Gilford NH. Awesome. Ground school provides the basics and the trail guides provide the expertise. 15 vehicles in our first session (there was a second session with about the same number) and there were definitely some "puckering" obstacles but all made it through nicely without vehicle damage. Meals also nice and well prepared. A great oppty to network. Our group had folks from Nova Scotia, VA, Chicago, Maine and Philadelphia. Highly recommended -- you will learn alot and drive away with greater sense of what the vehicle can do and what YOU are capable of for now.
