Anyone going to big bear June 9th? I think I’ll go up for a day trip.

Planning on it, I just added my name to the Overland run on Friday since I'm staying in Arrowbear and it's only 16 miles back down the mountain. I have to take the time to look closer at the other days when I have time later this week to decide. That's a good one for someone coming up only for the day since it starts at the bottom of the mountain.

Yup, but only for Thursday and Friday.

Update, I’ll be there all 4 days!

We are thinking of going for Thursday thru Saturday and heading home after the dinner and fun since it's not too far to drive and sleep in my own bed. I lived up there (hence my handle) and Sunday's after 11am become too much traffic for me and I choose not to get into that line to drive off the mountain.

Looking forward to seeing all of you at Big Bear Bronco Bash XXII. Just a suggestion if you've never attended a BBBB or know much about it or our group So Cal Broncos, please join the So Cal Broncos 6G facebook group and our forum at socalbroncos.com and read all the info posted so far and whatever we post in the days leading up to the Bash. It's not like most "organized" events, so managing expectations and showing up with a plan rather than looking for someone on-site to tell you where to go and what to do is key to making the most of Big Bear Bronco Bash. Also for those of you just coming up "for the day", consider making it a multi-day trip if you want to experience what Big Bear Bronco Bash is all about.

Doctor had to move my shoulder surgery (detached shoulder tendon) two weeks which puts it only two weeks before the BBBB, so I'm going to have to wait and see how I'm doing and if I think I can run any of the trails. Note: I drive a manual.

I went to the Bronco Safari (1st week of May), so driving with the sling on is not a problem, BUT, I'm concerned with the bouncing on the repaired tendon, this is the second surgery to repair it. All the other work done on the first attempt is doing great, so maybe? An easy trail shouldn't be too bouncy? Should it?

I'm shortening the trip to two days and I'm looking at Friday's Overlanding trail and Clark's Grade on Saturday if anyone has any feedback on those trails.
