I'll be coming what is your trail agenda, I was wanting to try to tackle 22 again since I had to tuck tail last time... we tried to do a ten meet and didn't get rolling for quite a while. Are you all running GSRM?

@Valhalla I probably won’t do 22, I did it a year or so ago and from the videos I’ve seen here lately it looked like it’s gotten pretty rough in spots for no lift and factory Sasquatch tires..not saying I

wouldn’t but I don’t want to commit to it especially if it’s wet. If a group wants to run something a bit more tame that’s more my speed. Depending on how much rain we get Friday could also impact things quite a bit. What I’d like to do is go up trail 2, over to trail 19 then 4. From there could go to the overlook, up to windmills if anyone wanted to. After that possibly down/up 26 & 27. I’ve not been on 26 or 27 in a few months so not sure how those faired from all the rain we’ve had. I’ve ran the rest of these mentioned in the past week or so and there’s nothing a stock 6G with at least a rear locker couldn’t do. I don’t think I’d recommend 2 unless you have at least 35s and rear locker due to just one spot in particular. I’d be happy with 9am meet.. and I do not have a radio of any sort in the truck, it’s on the list.

@865Bronco I would do this route. I worry more about maneuvering with less room if it's slippery as hell.

@Valhalla need to stay away from tilted and/or narrow stuff until I get a better feel with this barge. It's suppose to rain a bunch Friday so that's gonna change things.

@Alan_TN you should do 22 fine in a raptor...

I was there a few months ago...i think 22 was heavily rutted and tilted (flares at risk) but I was following others and not sure of the trail number. Likely looks worse than reality.

@ Vrtical You'll be fine I lifted the 2dr and went to 37's and I'm way narrower than you.

22 is heavily rutted, be mindful of those flares!

My BL flares were fine, it was a clearance issue.

@Alan_TN I did 22 last month in a stock OBX, I got high centered once on a hill, and had to be pulled up. I turned around were 36 intersects because I had chanced it enough. I have no skids or lift. I think with just a 1.5 inch lift I would not have hung up on the hill. I work tomorrow so I won't be going. I plan on lifting mine 2 inches and getting skids before I hit 22 again.

I'll be on GSMR channel 2 headed in then I'll switch to whatever your group is going to run. It looks like perfect weather to me. I'm going to hit 22 and try to link up with you guys.

if anyone needs to borrow a 2way, I will have an extra GSMR handheld as long as I get it back

My spotter uses the 2nd... a.k.a. the wife... she thinks I am insane taking this off highway... so do most people, I'll be dead one day though and i don't want this to have set in the garage and mall crawled... some 18 yr old buy it in 10 years and wheel the $#!t out of it... I'm as giddy as a school girl!!

@Valhalla I agree I bought it to use it. I will take care of it to make it last, but I will hit the trails in a minute and see what can do. As you saw last month, even stock it does alright. When I get the cash flow I will raise it put skids on it, and see how much better I can do with it.

Weather is the major issue at Windrock.. We have some people coming in from Michigan so I'm sure ill just show them around the park. I figure they have done much trail clean up yet. 22 27 and 26 were on my list for the day but ill have to play it by ear

ok now I am ready, dumped the steps, added the 3 gallon, and packed all my gear that I dont keep in it. I have a to go pelican case that does well but its already full. oh and cold front came through its raining pretty good at my house now, but looks like its done for Oak Ridge area so let the dry out begin,
