Hi guys, I’m in the Greater Seattle Area and looking for friends this year to learn a bit about off roading. Taking Rex - 23 Wildtrak to the Utah off rodeo in May so I’m interested in some super ez stuff in the next few months before doing a few of the back roads like chicken fingers and shafers white rim area.

I'm in SLC so I'm a little bit far from you but I learned A LOT about offroading by watching this YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@MattsOffRoadRecovery

Also search YouTube for these phrases and watch all the videos. That's what I did and gained a ton of knowledge.

airing down
airing up
locking differentials (rear, center, front)
sway bar disconnect
4wd hi vs 4wd lo
comparing mud tires and all-terrain tires
wheelbase
approach/departure angles
tow rope vs. kinetic/recovery/snatch rope
how to use a kinetic rope safely (extremely important - can cause death if used incorrectly)
how to change a spare tire (super basic but i don't know how much of a beginner you are)

Congrats on the Bronco. Not sure of your definition of "easy" as you referenced a couple of "roads" that I've not heard of. A lot of the roads for easy exploring are covered in snow this time of year. As for easy/beginner trail practice, Tahuya/Elfendahl is your best bet.
