We did a Cashes Valley trail trip yesterday (Monday). Here's a look at the details I posted in the Trips forum

We tried to ride the trail last weekend, but the rain and some unforeseen challenges prevented us from making it to the cemetery. This week, we got all the way to the cemetery, enjoyed some quite serene time and had a little trail-side picnic.

The link works. I love that trail. Perfect balance of easy ride with a couple of water crossings, and rocks. That cemetery is awesome. Apparently there was an old church right there too but it got burnt down sometime in the last few decades.

@Step funny thing... my wife and I walked around and she kept saying, "there's supposed to be a church here too...". I'll let her know it burned down.

I chatted up a local old timer and he showed me where it was.

Did you air down or have a need to? I've been wanting to do this trip but the rocks kinda scare me, wouldn't want a flat out there.

@Billnchristy as @Step mentioned, no real need to air down. Most of the trail is really more of a washing out dirt road. The water crossings are firm bottoms, although we did feel a bit of a shift of the bottom as we waded through. Would it be a bit smoother? perhaps, but not really necessary and it avoids the inevitable airing up, which there aren't really too many places to do that once leaving the trail (road).

You don’t need to air down. The only rocks are coming out of the water crossings and they are easy. But you still get a little thrill going over them.
