Could you suggest easy snow trails around mt. Rainier where I can have some fun? I am not sure about the snow situation, so looking for advice

I personally would not do snow wheeling solo, Lonesome Lake is a busy snow trail. If you looking for non snow Tahuya is a great entry level park

@evgenyvasenev After holidays I will prob post something, either snow or Tahuya deepening on snow conditions. Snow changes from day to day or even morning to evening, you can aim for easy but it's not always guaranteed. Getting stuck and recovering vehicles is most often part of snow wheeling.

@robepa I am not too far from Tahuya, I think Greenwater has a lot of snow, but probably too much

Elbe Hills and Evans Creek are both ORV parks. This time of the year, both probably have a decent amount of snow.

@Tech Tim Evans Creek tends to stay closed til June or so.

There are several forest roads off of 410 in the Greenwater area to play on in the snow.

@evgenyvasenev I’m in the Seattle area and looking for folks to do some soft roading with. I’m down for rainier or anywhere in the vicinity if you are ever interested!

I've been to lonesome lake and on the FS roads around Greenwater as others have posted. Usually go with my friend in Bonney Lake with a built jeep. It's a good area, but snow can get pretty deep in spots...especially if you slide off snow pack into rut on the side of a road. If going solo, have a way to self recover like a winch or a come along and a shovel. Or have a tow rope and hope someone comes along. I have yet to explore good snow wheeling spots in north cascades but I plan to.
