@KT_bronco If you want to check out the popular area in Anza-Borrego around Fish Creek, take the 78 to Ocotillo Wells Off Road Park, then turn onto Split Mtn Rd and follow it to Pinyon Mountain Valley trail, which starts/ends on the right just after you leave the pavement at this waypoint

You will see a sign. This is also a great place to air down/up.
From there, you can access lots of fun trails and offshoots like Diablo Drop. Good video showing you his Top 10 Best Off-Road Trails Reviewed In Anza-Borrego State Park

Just off the 78 before you get to Ocotillo Wells SVRA, you can hit up the Slot, Fonts Point, and a bunch of fun stuff in Ocotillo like Pumpkin Patch, Blow sand hill, Shell Reef, and TrucK haven, along with miles and miles of fast roads that the Bronco loves. Just watch out for other off-roaders, SXS, Motos, and kids riding. It can get crazy busy this time of year in Ocotillo.

I will be there Fri-Sun hitting a bunch of this stuff with a small group of trucks. I'm the only Bronco. Message me if you want to connect.

@Converge Thanks for the details and the map links, really appreciate it. I'm still waiting on weather reports for Pismo Beach. I made reservations there months ago and looks like it will be raining this weekend there. So I'm spending some time making a backup plan to visit here. I'll send you my contact via messaging.

You can do Coyote Canyon to the north and see the metal sculptures on the way, or do washes to the east, or head down the 22 towards the 86 for about 30 miles then go off on the north side for tons of twisty canyons and washes

one question, I'm thinking doing some of these trails next week, Tuesday 20th, but with these recent rains, what do you guys think how many dry days do i need in order to make these ones? seems like if you get stuck and a flash flood happens it fatal..

@TTT Good question. You never want to be on the trail during a storm. After the storm, the trails can change dramatically. I love this about the desert. But for sure, play it safe. That being said, if it is not raining, you can go, and it should be fine. Just expect the trail conditions to be rutted. Here's an example of what Anza is like during a storm.
