Hello Georgia Bronco Forum!

Been on here awhile, patiently waiting for build and price to go live.

However, now that the news on X Plan pricing has been dropped, i am seriously considering transferring my reservation to Stephens in WV from my current dealership at Hardy Ford. Has anyone else on here already done the same? If so, how did the process go?

Looking forward to getting my Black Diamond next year and meeting up with everyone!!

I transferred to Stephens a while ago. Once I got the Ford people on the phone it was painless. Stephens also sends me updates and answers my questions so I’m pretty happy.

Just a couple more days to go before B&P. We should know a lot more by then.

There are a large number of us going with Granger. I also know that there are many who have gone with Stephens. I don't think you can go wrong with either one of them.

The process to change is super easy by calling the Customer Service number. The CSRs have been very pleasant and helpful. It should only be a couple of minutes once you are live with them. Look forward to hearing about your Black Diamond!

Thanks for the quick response. I think I'll be making the switch after B&P goes live to see how much i am actually saving...I'd like to support local but if it means spending thousands more for the same vehicle then id be crazy not to switch.
As for my BD, I still haven't chosen a color, leaning toward Antimatter, Area 51 or Iconic Silver, but I will be going with the 2.7, Auto, Mid with a few additional accessories. I'd like to put 33's on them. Sasquatch would probably be more than what I'd ever need.
Totally pumped, 2021 is gonna drag by...lol.

Sounds like a good plan. The problem now is without the cover of the X-plan protections we are at the mercy of what the local dealers will decide to do with ADM, etc.

Those are good color choices. I got to see the Overlander concept in A51 at SuperCel East. It was really nice and likely the color I will choose.

I made the switch this morning. It took about 10 minutes.

Never received a reply to an email from Hennessy Atlanta so switched to Stephens a few weeks ago ... couldn’t have been easier.

Paid Stephens the $100 fee, got my $100 refund within a few days.

I have two reservations, and I'm moving the later one over to Granger (still within the first 24 hours) and keeping my first with Krause in Woodstock to try and leverage a near x-plan kind of deal there. If that doesn't work, I'll transfer it over to Granger as well since that one was made within 2 hours of opening reservations.

@PatientlyWaiting Something I'm going to try. The salesman I've been talking to sounds cool, but obviously that isn't a guarantee of success.

@ATLColonial Good Luck. I'm waiting B&P and will start visiting places.

@PatientlyWaiting Same to you. I don't mind paying a little more than Granger if I can get local, or even something close to MSRP if that includes oil changes or other free services. I was perfectly content to buy local at the x-plan price, but may be moving my reservation over to Granger or Stephens if I can't get close to that.

You don't lose your place in line when transferring your reservation do you? I made mine in August and i read somewhere that the cut-off for delivery of 2021 Broncos was sometime in mid September.

Nope. Your reservation number stays the same.

I am reserved at Akins Ford right now, but I've called and after I got called back, sales people are nice but seem really unsure of the process in general. They're all nice enough and I'd buy a different vehicle from them but am not at all confident in their Bronco plans. I am considering Stephens (used to live in West by God Virginia), but it sounds like I need to pay them another $100? No big deal there,, but if i switch it, am I losing anything in doing so, other than distance? I've seen Grangers plan but haven't found Stephen's yet?

@DawgBronc Stephens is exactly the same as Granger, I think. They refund you the $100 once you transfer, and then I think you pay again to Stephens.

@ATLColonial Very easy to switch by calling the Ford Customer Service number. The $100 deposit was for the original dealership. If you transfer your reservation that gets refunded. You do not need to pay another $100 deposit when you transfer. I switched to Granger a while back.

I used to live in WV as well!!
I too am considering switching to Stephens as well once sticker shock wears off from B&P tomorrow. Good reason for me to go home and see my parents. They live just North of Charleston only 30ish minutes from Stephens Auto!

Stephens is $1000 off Invoice and $1300 off with Xplan (probably not anymore after ford's announcement). I'm thinking of switching to Stephens as well. Haven't heard anything from dealer Tidwell in Marietta. I just worry about my place in line. I'm a day one reservation. Switching to a smaller dealer in WV has me worried about getting a 2021.

Thanks for everyone's help! JMiles 74 we were in Hurricane and loved it, but as one of the few native Atlantans, Georgia is just H O M E!
