Hey guys, I’m thinking of doing Beasley Knob Friday 11/25. Let me know if you’re interested.

Supposed to rain all day tomorrow. Likely be closed

The forecast is calling for just .25” so it may be OK. I’m going to play by ear

Beasley Knob is open. I’ll be heading out later this morning

How was it.

It was awesome. It really is a difficult trail. A little wet but not bad. They cut the trails to go up the mountain in 25degree short hills and 10’ of flat like a stair step… so any more rain would have made it very difficult. 93D is the “rock garden”. I took it going down. No way I could have handled it up hill. Sasquatch was a must for me on this one.

Great pics... sounds like I'll need a little more time behind the wheel of the Bronco before I'm ready to tackle Beasley Knob. I'm just getting my bearings on off-roading with the Bronco. But very much looking forward to more adventures.

Beasley has a good bit of "less challenging " roads, so any experience level can have fun.

@cashe3 I need to head up there for a day of sightseeing and perhaps a picnic lunch to get acclimated to what's available up there.

It’s hard to know what is challenging or not until you’re halfway up the hill

. Dry day vastly different from a wet day too.

@KPLOBX from my dirtbike days, wet can change an easy trail into quite a challenging experience. I figure moisture = 5x difficulty

Yep. Trail Turn assist was even useless, it just slid around didn’t give me any extra turning control. Totally dry day would have been different going up hills. The rock garden I would still avoid though.
