Well, after the X-Plan news, now what? I'm planning on calling around to see if any dealer will still honor X-Plan or even invoice pricing but I think it's a long shot.

I would assume Stephen's deal is still good, but I'm waiting to hear confirmation with that ... we obviously have some time to figure it out since we don't have to change now until Jan 31

@Lothbrok I think Stephen’s deal is still good at a minimum of $1000 under invoice. The doc fees for x plan were $100 but are $265 without. I am assuming they will respond at some point today on their offer given the recent news.

At least we'll now be able to price out what we want and get a dealer commitment. Being that they're clearly trying to make First Edition stand alone, I'm not confident that I'll get a Stephen's-like deal. And I don't trust the allocation process to switch to them. Though I do have a really early time stamp.

I'll post my deal here as soon as I have it confirmed, and hope you all will do the same.

Just an FYI. My reservation is still with Woltz and Wind and I have heard nothing recently. Latest offer they told me was MSRP no ADM.

@Borswayze i just spoke with Woltz and Wind on Saturday at the store. They did commit to MSRP. They did say the FE is going to have ADM and thats consistent with what other dealers are planning to do in the area. The internet manager also stated that they have approximate 135 reservations and about 3/4 are within the first week.

My hope is that Cochran will step up and be interested in picking up switches locally with a decent offer. But I need the B&P before going back. It'll be interesting to see what the local dealers do once we have our actual build and they know we can switch.

I know Stephens in Charleston WV is offering $1000 below invoice, but they are getting a ton of orders. Who knows about allocation? I just got wind of Diehl Ford in Grantsville MD offering straight Invoice pricing, which is actually slightly better than X Plan. 90 minute drive versus 4+ hours, and probably not as flooded with orders as Stephens is.

Just thought I’d share with the Burgh reservation holders. In case the hometown dealers don’t play all.

I switched to Stephens today. John seems like a straight up guy when we spoke. Everybody I spoke with at Stephens seemed very nice. Should be an easy drive.

Would we need to drive to these places in December, or just order over the phone?

Everything is over the phone. Obviously pick up at Stephens.

Over the phone is my guess.

Perhaps most of you saw this already, but here is the Stephen's detail of their offer from their site just in case. They have been updating the site as this process progresses.

Unfortunately, B&P did not help much. I was hoping to build out my model and go back to Cochran to finalize pricing offer. But I have a FE and hoping they give more interior options. I usually wouldn't really care, but it is so bad. And I think there will be more options added to B&P from now until December. Ford even said so in the updated Q&A. Luckily we have until Jan 31 to finalize and switch dealers, so I'll likely continue to wait it out until December. I have a really early time stamp or I'd probably wait until MY22 to have more choices. Instead, I'll take MY21 for summertime next year! We'll probably still be in quarantine anyway, so I can at least drive around top off!

Also, on a side note, after that shit show on Saturday vs Notre Dame, I think I need to consider changing my name
