Yesterday was a good day! I picked up my 2022 Black Diamond 2.3 MT in A51 from Autonation Ford Union City just outside of Atlanta. I placed my order without a reservation in person on January 15, 2022. I made a change to add advanced 4x4 and remove the tow package on February 23, 2022. I received notification it was built on October 5 and delivered to my dealer on October 21.
I was about 5 miles into my drive home on the interstate and laughed out loud. I felt like a kid with a new toy. Can't wait to see you on the roads and trails around the state.
On a side note, I may be the anomaly here. I don't plan on any significant mods. I only plan to do an aftermarket hitch (hauling bikes), step/rail (for wife and kid), and replace the chrome lugnuts with black. Once the OEM tires wear out I'll be throwing on some BF Goodrich All-Terrain KO2 in a 285. That's it for the foreseeable future.
