My wife and I took off Friday morning and spent the weekend in the national forest, just needed a little getaway. Nothing crazy, just a couple of the most perfect fall days to spend in the woods. Friday night we were in the Montgomery Creek area, in a really remote place, no traffic at all, just us and nature's colors. We moved on Saturday to a spectacular site on a knob just a bit up from Coopers Gap. Not quite as remote so we could hear folks driving along the service road....including the group that passed through at 2am singing Don't Stop Believin' at the top of ther lungs!
I picked up a few trail stripes (which buffed right out), and a couple minor rock chips, but I'll say the cheap Weathertech mudflaps that everyone hates, along with the factory sliders which everyone hates, did their job pretty damn well. The top picked up some stripes too, but the Sunrider still looks brand new. The Bronco did just great and we had a fantastic weekend.
