Hey, I got my Bronco finally and want to do a few things with Forscan, but I am not comfortable to do it by myself. Could you suggest someone who could help me? A shop or a person. Ideally somewhere around Tacoma/Gig Harbor, but could be a little bit further.

I got rid of the double honk, 3800 for improved stereo, fog lights stay on with high beams and added baja and rock crawl goat modes. I bought the same forscan on Amazon for about $30 as shown on Pickens party of 5 video and watched a few other YouTube videos and it was pretty easy to follow along. Had never used forscan before. You go it!

There's a forscan line you can change to 3800 and it opens up the rear speakers. Some say it only works for 2021. I did it and it made a huge difference. I also have upgraded Kicker CS speakers and then did the 200.4 amp. The 3800 by itself made my system a lot better. There are some youtube videos showing it done.

@Lak34ers Do you happen to have a link you could share with this documentation? Haven't heard or seen anything about this in the FORScan spreadsheets

You can do it! Lots of how to videos and tutorials on this site. I’m far from good with computers and did the double honk, added sport mode, added amber DRLs and global windows up. It’s super easy if you can follow directions.

I probably can, but I need to buy a windows laptop first :) It could be probably cheaper to find someone :D

@evgenyvasenev If you have a Mac, you can use boot camp to install a windows image and use that to run the Forscan tool. Worked great for me.

@MR_LIONBOT Thanks, yep, I know, I can do it, trying to do it in easier (for me) way. If I don't find anyone, I would do it by myself, but I am tying to avoid it :)

I’m in Salem, so I’m probably not much help.

@66GT Amber DRLs - Is it white now and just makes them stay amber?

@Lak34ers The amber lights are already in the signature lights (for the turn signal, not the 'halo'). The ForScan hack turns those amber ones on instead of the white ones as DRLs. They still blink properly for turns and emergency flashers.

When the headlights come on, they go back to running white. I'd change them to stay amber if possible, but I haven't found anyone that's figured that out yet.

I feel the same way. I have all the stuff to do it, just afraid of doing it.

@SuzH It's intimidating.. but super easy. Only hack anyone will ever see are the amber DRLs.. but all the others are the ones that make it more fun (Sport mode for us BL guys 🤘).. and less annoying (honking with key out of vehicle.. auto engine shut off). 100% recommend.

I'd LOVE to have the amber DRL's since I have the amber BRONCO letters from Oracle. That would make the front end look even more sick! haha.... I will have to pull up the big girl panties and just do it. Or bake some serious cookies for someone to help me with it. Anyone?????

@SuzH I'll be your huckleberry. Just bring a laptop to the next event we attend together. I always keep my cable with me. 😎

PS.. will look sick with those Oracle letters.
