Midwest Bronco Bros & Sis

The plan is to find forestry roads and spurs that would make a fun, challenging, and safe route from Melrude through the Superior National Forest to Grand Marais.

We will be taking notes, photos and video on this trip to make plans for future trips and group rides.

Tentative Schedule:


Saturday, September 24

• 12am start from Melrude Whistle Stop (or Whiteface Campground if we started on Friday)
• Mostly dirt and gravel roads starting with a challenging muddy section and potential low water crossings
• Camp at one of the USFS Rustic Campgrounds

Sunday, September 25

• Continue driving into Grand Marais for lunch then disband to drive home
