So it's Sunday, and I may or may not have been partaking... so excuse my response. I have lived in and bought Fords on both east and west coast of FL (actullay across the USA). I currently live just west of Central FL. And I only buy Fords; Ford blood runs through my veins (Good, Bad, or Indifferent). I think you need to buy where you are comfortable. Yes, dealers can mark up prices, but if you establish a relationship with them it may not be as high. And also, don't be afraid to speak with the GM. IMO, buying a vehicle halfway across the country outweighs the local markup; in some cases the expenses are even or more (Although you'll look cool in that jacket...). I'm buying from Brandon Ford because I bought too many vehicles from them. My salesman is Tommy Shelly. He is a stand-up guy. Hell, tell him I referred you. He knows who I am...
