Bronco Outing planned for this Sunday, July 3. Details below!
-----
Meet at the Buc-ee's in Calhoun at 10am on Sunday. About an hour-hour 15 min from Atlantic Station or west / north Atlanta. Hopefully still convenient for anyone joining from Gilmer county, Lumpkin, etc.
We'll aim to leave there by 10:30 and head to Haley Road (trail) in Prentice Cooper WMA, just northwest of Chattanooga. Ideally we get there at noon but with the holiday weekend everything may get slowed down. Directions from Buc-ee's to the trailhead can be grabbed here:

Haley Rd appears to be a nice challenge in and of itself but has an additional offshoot loop called Inman Loop.

Inman Loop: https://www.alltrails.com/.../inman-point-road-shingle...
I think between these options we should have a moderately challenging trip to make it worth the jaunt up there. Especially with the rain, should be good fun. I was looking at another trail not far from here called Big Fork, which has many recent youtube vids and appears highly used, but I can't find much of a listing indicating that it's public / legal. I think Haley and Inman will be good for the day.
